It’s been a bit since we’ve heard from Jessie Ware. Have no fear: the soulful songstress’s latest record, ‘Glasshouse’, will be out this Friday, the 20th of October. To preview the long player, she previously unveiled single ‘Midnight’, reviewed by our David through here, followed by ‘Selfish Love’. She has now revealed the promo video for another ‘Glasshouse’ single, its third, ‘Alone’. Self-described by Ware as a song about “stealing time away with your loved one”, the video is even more evocative thanks to its environs: the art deco Elthan Palace chosen by Charlie Robbins. Watch the video ‘Alone’ below; get ‘Glasshouse’ for your very own on PMR / Island Records. To read all our past coverage on the lovely Miss Ware, go here.

We love music that has its heart on its sleeve, tells a story, swims around our head all day or makes us dance like no-one's watching.

TGTF is edited by Mary Chang, who is based in Washington, DC. She is joined by writers in England, America and Ireland. It began as a UK music blog by Phil Singer in 2005.

All MP3s are posted with the permission of the artists or their representatives and are for sampling only. Like the music? Buy it. If you want a track removed, email us and we'll sort it ASAP.
