Live Gig Video: The Cribs close out their VEVO UK stage appearance at Great Escape 2015 with ‘Pink Snow’

Some 9 odd years after their debut appearance at the emerging music festival in Brighton, the Cribs reappeared at the Great Escape 2015 to do some damage Friday night at the VEVO UK stage, hosted this year at Wagner Hall. Following on from the social consciousness of George the Poet and closing out the second night of the 10th anniversary of the event by the sea, the Jarman brothers did what they do best: tore through an hour-long set of old favourites and newer ones from their latest album ‘For All My Sisters’ (reviewed by Chris here). ‘Pink Snow’ has a bit of a sinister, wonky melody, and while it wouldn’t have been my choice for the song to end their set, along with all the other songs they played in Brighton that night, it was rapturously received by their fans. Watch the performance below.
