Video of the Moment #1591: Lana Del Rey

Not sure if we should be applauding Lana Del Rey for not making a controversial promo for the title track of her latest album ‘Ultraviolence’; it would have followed suit after many others that had come before and created firestorms. Instead, this one involves Del Rey wearing a wedding dress and veil, pensively walking around a park, flowers in hand. You will notice that one of her hands has nail lacquer and the other doesn’t, but I’m at a loss what profound meaning that cosmetic decision has.

For a more exciting version of this song, I recommend you watch her performing the song at Glastonbury 2014. ‘Ultraviolence’ is out now on Interscope.
