Video of the Moment #548: Twin Atlantic

By on Friday, 12th August 2011 at 6:00 pm

Glasgow’s Twin Atlantic have a new video for their song ‘Make a Beast of Myself’. They went out of their comfort zone and all the way to East Berlin to film this with director James Slater, so surely this deserves a watch.

Also, I’m sure when they made this they had no idea there would be widespread rioting in London and other cities in Britain this week, but this video features the physical reactions of local people to an accident and the band’s singer Sam McTrusty walking through the streets as if numb. Are we numb and desensitized to the things that are going on in our country? Do we stand by and not do anything when the places and people we love are threatened? This video should make you stop and think.
