This week’s Gonzo – Plan B and Pigeon Detectives talk new albums, Daisy Lowe and dog stop by

Tonight’s episode of MTV Gonzo is just chock full of goodies! Plan B stops by to talk about his forthcoming album ‘The Ballad of Belmarsh’, to be released later this year, and what’s been going on in his life since his his award winning appearance and infamous performance at this year’s BRITS. Model Daisy Lowe (pictured above) pops in, little dog in tow, for a chat with Alexa on music and Doctor Who. She likes the Big Apple but was reportedly quoted as saying, “I would move to New York, but I can’t bare putting my dog through the plane journey!” (Frankly, anyone who’s been on a plane as of late can surely commiserate. I know I can.) West Yorkshire band the Pigeon Detectives, just coming out of the dark and not having been seen in a long while (probably since their 2008 album ‘Emergency’) are in the Gonzo studio to talk up their hotly-anticipated third album, ‘Up, Guards and at Em’!’
From America comes the Man himself, Snoop Dogg, ready to have an exclusive convo with Alex about his 11th studio album ‘Dogumentary’. The Horrors‘s Faris Badwan has a new band (name unknown at this point…?) and they play for us at the Vatican. (Um…I guess we’re just going to have to watch and see it to believe it.) And Jon Fratelli, who we’ve written about quite a bit on here at TGTF, will be playing his new solo work. Not enough for you? Punk band Flats make their first TV appearance. It all happens tonight on Gonzo.
MTV Gonzo airs tonight (Friday) at 7 PM on MTV Music, with a repeat at 8 PM on MTV Rocks.
