Single Review: Royksopp – The Drug

It’s been a while since we’ve written about Rokysopp on TGTF. In America, they’ve enjoyed success thanks to an unlikely source: their song ‘Remind Me’ was used in a Geico (car insurance) telly advert. While ‘The Drug’ may not be as overtly poppy as last year’s ‘Happy Up Here’, the Tromsø, Norway duo have created a vibey single guaranteed to get your toes tapping and neck and shoulders moving in unexpected, pointy directions.

‘The Drug’ was released on 9 August as a taster to the 13th of September 2010 release of ‘Senior’, their fourth album and the aptly-titled follow-up to last year’s ‘Junior’.
