Ha! Having just posted Vampire Weekend’s ‘Cousins’ last week, it seems only appropriate to post Two Door Cinema Club’s video for ‘I Can Talk’, their latest single released on French label Kitsuné Maison today. It’s almost as if the boys from Bangor are responding to the New Yorkers with their sound. And boy are they entertaining. Phil saw them last month in Southampton and I’m mighty jealous!
The promo video below is just as peculiar as the ones that Vampire Weekend made for their debut album – coincidence? You decide. What do I think? I get the distinct feeling there’ll be a battle for top of the charts when ‘Contra’ and Two Door Cinema Club’s yet-to-be-named debut album are released early next year. Have at it boys!
