MP3 of the Day #79: Secret Handshake remix
You may have noticed that of late our posts here at TGTF have moved a bit more towards the mainstream. This hasn’t been a conscious move – we just write about stuff that interests us.
So when I get this remix by Designer Drugs of a Secret Handshake track, I feel bad. It’s as mainstream as you can get, just the sort of thing that US college kids go crazy for. But I love it. It’s a bit long and takes a minute to get really going, but it’s perfect for summer. I’m sure there will be a few of you who shake your heads and delete the bookmark for TGTF. But I really quite like it’ so I’m gonna stick to my guns.
Secret Handshake is Dallas based musician Luis Dubuc, whose songs have an unabashed pop sensibility, drawing on the ‘90s to inspire the feel-good energy and playful mood of many of his tracks.
