We first mentioned The Answering Machine on Snow Day (wow, seems so long ago now), and then caught them live just a few weeks later. They’re pretty amazing, and now have their debut single out on Monday, 9th March. Their shiny new video features the likes of Sesame Street Characters (for the life of me I can’t remember the name of the one, but I’m sure one of you geniuses will be able to remind me in the comments!)
Cliffer is a pretty great song – it’s got a confident, meatier punch than some of their earlier songs, providing a strong call to arms for our generation. From what we’ve heard so far, we love The Answering Machine, and genuinely can’t wait for their album – needless to say, you’ll be hearing all about it when it comes out!
