Paul WellerThe legendary Paul Weller has announced a string of dates for this summer around the UK’s forests.

The Modfather of rock will be playing six shows, having first played the Forestry Commission’s shows in 2004. Expect a great setting, some great support acts, and great music from the legend himself.

Tickets are £33.00 each and are available from 9.00am this Friday (16th January) from the usual outlets, plus the Forestry Commission Box Office (tel: 01842 814612), or from the local venues.

Friday 5th June 2009 – Thetford Forest, Near Brandon, Suffolk
Friday 12th June 2009 – Delamere Forest, Delamere, Cheshire
Friday 19th June 2009 – Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Near Edwinstowe, Notts
Saturday 20th June 2009 – Westonbirt Arboretum, Near Tetbury, Glos
Friday 26th June 2009 – Cannock Chase Forest, Near Rugeley, Staffs
Saturday 27th June 2009 – Dalby Forest, Near Pickering, N Yorks
