Fans of Jeff Buckley or Leonard Cohen may have noticed the awful rendition of Hallelujah that’s been doing the rounds this week. Whilst I have no issue with Alexandra Burke, winner of the X factor, the cover is awful. I don’t usually pay attention to the charts but this single cannot get to number one and so I’m endorsing the push for Jeff Buckley’s version of the classic – currently floating around number two and three in the charts. Just log on to iTunes and click purchase, hopefully it’ll make number one by the weekend.
I’d also like to remind people that voting for the NME awards has started, and who better to nominate as best website than TGTF?
