CSS – Move

By Phil Singer on Sunday, 28th September 2008 at 8:14 pm

I was never a huge fan of CSS‘ debut album Cansei de Ser Sexy, though in hindsight I think it might just have been because of Lovefoxx’s disgusting catsuits that she seemed to wear at all the festivals last summer, and the overexposure of most of the tracks on Radio 1 and blogs etc.

Now they’re back with their second album, Donkey, and having ditched bassist Iracema Trevisan they’ve gained a bit more consistent sound (well, at least to me anyway…), and got a whole lot tighter and more professional sound. I love it and might actually check out the whole album instead of just lead single “Rat is Dead (Rage)” and this one, Move.

Backwards straight to the dance floor
Will you still be waiting for me?
Will you still be my friend?
I don’t wanna bug you
All these crazy, crazy ideas
For I know this ain’t a good place for us to talk

So, watch and enjoy.
