Editors today announced their sophomore effort “An End Has a Start” will be coming into our shops on 25th June.
I’m quite excited about this, which suprises me considerably. I went to see them live on the first night of their three night run at the Brixton Academy last May and whilst they were quite competent, they were nothing special. Just another generic guitar band, trying to do the Cure updated. Their songs sounded quite similar to me live (even though I loved the album), and I went off them a bit afterwards. They weren’t crap, just, well, average.
Thus why I’m suprised I’m soo looking forward to their new album. It should be good hopefully, innovative and different. Well, here’s hoping.
The track listing is:
1. Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors
2. An End Has A Start
3. The Weight Of The World
4. Bones
5. When Anger Shows
6. The Racing Rats
7. Push Your Head Towards The Air
8. Escape The Nest
9. Spiders
10. Well Worn hand
(Though I never see much point in writing out the track listing as we don’t know what the songs are like, and you can’t really fix a name to a feeling yet… if that makes *any* sense!)
